Bead Stringer’s Tool Kit
The Xuron TK 2400 Bead Stringer’s Tool Kit features three different models of pliers designed to cut, form, hold, and loop stringing materials of all varieties. The pliers are stored in a tri-fold canvas pouch with individual pockets. They are ergonomically designed with soft hand grips and a return spring. Call (207) 283-1401, fax (207) 283-0594, e-mail info@xuron.com, or visit www.xuron.com.

Flexible Multi-Strand Bead Stringing Wire
Beadalon offers stringing wire composed of multiple miniature gold-plated wires wrapped with a smooth, clear, nylon coating to prevent tarnishing. This method allows for greater flexibility. The higher the number of strands of wire, the more flexibility it will allow — 7 strand is flexible, 19 strand is more flexible, and 49 strand is the most flexible. The wire comes in several diameter sizes. Call (800) 824-WIRE or visit www.beadalon.com.

String End Securer
Backspin has developed a new product for bead stringing called Hold-on. It holds string ends while the user works, preventing the beads from slipping. It works on all stringing materials and is reusable. Call (707) 938-3539, fax (707) 938-3097, or e-mail info@softflexcompany.com.

Bead Cords
Griffon bead cords are available in natural silk or polyamide nylon. Each packet contains 6-1/2' of cord with a needle attached. A range of colors and sizes is available. Call Indian Supply Company at (800) 545-6540 or (505) 722-4451 or visit www.ijsinc.com.

Bead Stations
Rio Grande introduces beads designed to remain stationary on almost any strand, whether the stringing material is Beadalon®, silk, bead cord, wire, or chain. Placed next to larger-holed beads or bracelet slides, bead stations prevent bead movements along the strand. Used alone, they can anchor bead designs. Extra-thin chain can even be threaded back through a single bead station to create a lariat-style necklace. The 6mm bead stations are offered in sterling or gold-filled. Two hole sizes are available, accommodating either 0.38mm strands or 1-1.2mm strands. Jewelers may call (800) 545-6566 from the U.S., (800) 253-9738 from Canada, or (505) 839-3011 from all other countries. Or, fax (800) 965-2329, e-mail info@riogrande.com, or visit www.riogrande.com.
